So any self destructive behaviour would be a function of the AC.

TonyTony Whitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07034697658099080220noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3289688322615470169.post-92144192223976433862011-11-23T03:48:47.850+08:002011-11-23T03:48:47.850+08:00I don't get it. As you say one way is to try and control it and watch it vigilantly. I think many try and do this but to my mind it is not a good long term solution.

When ever a client presents such a self destructive part I suggest the approach of learning how to coexist with it. Acknowledging its power and potency and learning how to live with it. Forming some kind of relationship with it.
Thanx for your comment

TonyTony Whitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07034697658099080220noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3289688322615470169.post-59903008553997150602011-11-19T06:09:14.444+08:002011-11-19T06:09:14.444+08:00Your supervisee’s remark makes sense to me. Controlling the part that wants to get high requires constant vigilance and all sorts of head games.Crocushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14909540094767897712noreply@blogger.com
