Your starting point seems to be logical... However your model it is only a model as the three ego state model is. It is only a map, not the reality.

Opinion and obiectivity - an interesting dilemma. If my opinion is wrong it seems to be clear that is not obiectivity. But if I am right, it is opinion or obiectivity? Let us return to the first case, when I am wrong. I make a logical deduction starting from obiectiv premisses. But I am not a perfect computer, I make a mistake. My conclusion is a new one, is not of a parent figure. It is not from a tape. Is not from my Parent. It is from my (mistaking) Adult. But is not reality. It is only my wrong opinion, coming from my Adult... So it is very complicted...

My question is, how do you differentiate (graphical) on your model a P-P transaction from an A-A transaction? Or how do you represent a duplex transaction A-A (overt) P-P (covert?)

Best regards

AttilaAttilahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03979061540638005675noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3289688322615470169.post-46704770726196652882011-07-24T01:08:20.200+08:002011-07-24T01:08:20.200+08:00Hello Madeleine,

If that happened then their own Child ego state needs would be under threat each time the person behaved in a way that followed the modelling from the parents. So yes I agree with the point you make

TonyTony Whitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07034697658099080220noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3289688322615470169.post-21180142258322655642011-07-23T21:24:03.820+08:002011-07-23T21:24:03.820+08:00Hi Tony,

Many of my clients are Workoholics and they seem to be working to satisfy the Parent's (modelled) needs rather than their Child's needs.
What do you think?
Thanks a lot for your help!
MadeleineMadeleine Laugeri PTSTA-Ohttp://www.emergingchange.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3289688322615470169.post-72114990488438636402011-06-23T09:26:18.605+08:002011-06-23T09:26:18.605+08:00An interesting idea Evan,

Thus they are differentiated on that basis.

Cheers

TonyTony Whitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07034697658099080220noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3289688322615470169.post-11674759655478693332011-06-23T07:49:30.585+08:002011-06-23T07:49:30.585+08:00Is there a single ego-state model?
